The Expelled Student Program (ESP) is designed to serve students who have been expelled from Omaha Public Schools.  The program provides students an opportunity to maintain credit in courses required for promotion/graduation along with a community service experience.  Any student 7th through 12th grade who has been expelled from school and resides in the Omaha Public School's district lines may attend the program.

Students arrive at ESP through a district referral.  When a student is expelled from Omaha Public Schools, School Support Liaison (SSL) refers the student’s cum folder to the program, which in turns generates an invitation for students to attend our Orientation process.

All students enrolled in ESP have completed an orientation phase, which lasts four days.  During that time students are given the opportunity to spend time with each of their teachers before starting classes.  Students enrolled in the program attend school in ½ day sessions. Our students take four classes which are 45 minutes in length.
